Pay it Forward

On a happier note, do you remember the Sullengers? I posted a link to their blog a while back. They tragically lost their daughter over the summer and have turned their grief into something amazing. Read about their Pay it Forward project here.

  1. Abby, I have to tell you how much this post impacted me. I clicked on your link thinking I would read about a cool little experience or something. I had no idea how much that one link would affect me. As I started reading I was immediately upset at myself for clicking on it and exposing myself to something that might make me cry in my hormonally challenged pregnant state. Then I was ready to chew you out for posting it in the first place. As I started reading their story, though, I found myself clinging to every word and needing to read more and more. I can't even find words for the wave of emotions that attacked me as I sat on the bathroom floor bawling for complete strangers. I can't imagine having the strength that these amazing people must have to invoke these feelings through something like a blog post and how much more increadible I would be to know them in real life. Their story is so amazing, even despite the horrible sadness of it. So mostly I just wanted to say thank you for passing this amazing experience on to me!
