Suggestions???

Meet Harper, The Nail Biter
It seems that Harper has picked up on and adopted my worst habit.
I've been a nail biter for as long as I can remember.
I hate it and am constantly trying to quit.
I'd prefer to kick Harper's nail nibbling habit right away.
Suggestions?????

  1. This is a strong Pritchard trait, almost all of us do it. I've found that you grow out of it sort of, but stress/boredom will cause a relapse. I actually asked a doctor about it and they said increasing your vitamin B-1 can help a lot. I've been doing that and haven't chewed my nails off in quite a long while (10 years). She also said that it is borderline OCD, depending on how severely and often you do it.

  3. There is a nail polish called Mavala that makes your nails taste bad. I know people that have had great success using it.

  6. I started biting my nails when I was like 5 or 6 and didn't stop until I got braces (which prevented me from doing so) when I was 11. My mom tried everything, she even made me wear gloves! but the good news is that I stopped with braces and haven't gone back, hopefully you have better luck and get her to stop before too long!
